SAN MIGUEL DE TUCUMÁN DRINKING WATER MASTER PLAN
Optimization, Storing and Distribution of drinking water.
Planning for the supply to a future population of over 730,000 inhabitants has been carried out, with an estimated production of over 10,000m³/h from various sources, be it surface water or groundwater.
A 30,000m³ cistern was projected for storage of the resource.
Over 50% of the existing distribution Network is to be renewed, which means about 700km pipeline.
Reorganization of the macro distribution network, installation of 70,000 meters, pressure regulating valves, air valves and online measuring was carried out.
It was also taken into account: in-depth leak detection, reduction of non-regularized connections and mass installation of macro and micro measurement, simultaneously adjusting the tariff structure to guarantee a sustainable service.
